Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I’m really pleased with my Almost Perfect large accordian zipper wallet in the Cobalt color. It fits everything I carry in a wallet, including RFID cards with my bank cards and credit cards. The zippers are smooth and easy to use, and the card slots are secure, without being too tight, which is very important to me with arthritic fingers and hands. It fits nicely in my large raindrop crossbody, along with a large seashell pouch, and still leaves room for my keychain and a rather bulky sunglasses case that I use. I have not been able to determine what made this item rate as only almost perfect, but I was thrilled to pay a lower price for such a gorgeous color! I like the way it coordinates with the plum color I chose for my purse and seashell pouch.

I see no defects for an Almost Perfect product! I must have gotten lucky! I am coming from a wallet with an ID window sewn into the middle zip pouch, so that’s taken adjusting to, but it’s very roomy, while not feeling too big. It was still at first, being quality leather, but it’s loosened up a bit. The zipper is pretty hardy too, and I expect that to give a little as the wallet becomes more pliable. This fits perfectly in the Portland Leather Triangle Shoulder Bag, both horizontally and vertically, shown in the images below.

Very happy with my first PLG purchase! This wallet is a great size with the perfect number of pockets/card holders. If I look closely I can see a couple of imperfect spots (bits that are lighter colored) but I anticipate those marks will only give the wallet more character as it's used more and acquires normal wear and tear. I got the orchid in this wallet and I like that it’s a standard larger wallet because I like to keep a lot of stuff in there including change credit cards gift cards anything so I like that it’s larger. It’s great wallet.
